New Directions Education is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our secondary team in Harrogate. This is an exciting opportunity to motivate and engage students in physical education, promoting fitness, teamwork, and personal development.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
Plan and implement engaging activities that develop physical skills and confidence
Organise and lead extracurricular sports and fitness programmes
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation and achievement
Monitor and assess pupil progress, supporting individual development
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and passion for physical education
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
