New Directions is working with a wonderful primary school in Wakefield who are looking for an inspiring Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The role is based in a year 5 class, this is a two-form entry school therefore the successful candidate will work alongside a partner teacher. School offer a welcoming and positive atmosphere, enabling children to be creative and reach their potential in every aspect of their development and learning.

This is a full-time primary teacher role with the view to start in September, continuing until the end of the school year.
Primary Teacher Responsibilities:
To plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
To differentiate for all needs within the classroom
To manage classroom behaviour appropriately and effectively. Following school policies and promoting a safe and happy learning environment
To direct support staff ensuring all children are supported effectively
To build strong professional relationships with parents, allowing for open communication and regular updates
To apply you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
