New Directions Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to work in a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Helsby. Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
The Role:
• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary age range (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Assessing pupil progress and providing clear and constructive feedback
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
• Contributing to the wider school community where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• A proactive, flexible, and professional approach
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
