We are currently recruiting for Primary Teachers to work in and around the Telford area.
We have worked with Shropshire schools for a number of years supplying on a day to day basis for sickness cover, course cover, PPA cover, planned absences, and on a long-term basis for instances of maternity, paternity and long-term sickness.
We have positions available for Nursery, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Teachers. However, some of our Teachers are happy to teach in any.
Benefits of working on supply:
Flexibility to work the hours that suit your availability;
Introductions to new schools and different working environments;
A way in to schools if you are looking for a more permanent role;
Building experience and skills;
Weekly pay; and
Free training courses provided by New Directions to boost your CV.
You must be able to plan lessons and you are required to complete the marking. However, some schools will leave work if it is a booking made far enough in advance – e.g. course cover. Both experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply.
