Are you a passionate KS1 Teacher with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics? New Directions Education are currently recruiting for a fantastic teaching opportunity in Ellesmere Port, and we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running!
About the Role
Teaching within Key Stage 1
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
Strong focus on phonics and early reading
Supporting pupils across the KS1 curriculum
Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Working closely with support staff and the wider school team
Building strong, positive relationships with pupils
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
Confident knowledge and experience delivering phonics
Previous KS1 teaching experience is highly desirable
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A nurturing, enthusiastic and engaging approach
Someone who is confident, adaptable and ready to become part of the school team
