Position: Part-Time Teacher (Year 4 and Year 6)
Days: Every Wednesday
Duration: Ongoing until Summer (Starting After Easter 2025)

Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 4 and Year 6 students that align with the National Curriculum.
– Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure continued growth.
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create a supportive community focused on student success.
– Utilise innovative teaching strategies to keep lessons dynamic and engaging.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in Year 4 and Year 6.
– A passion for education and a commitment to nurturing the growth of all students.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Specification

We recruit Primary Teachers for jobs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary Teacher job roles.

As a Primary School Teacher you’ll be expected to:

• Teach all areas of the school curriculum 
• Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
• Maintain discipline
• Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
• Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
• Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
