New Directions Education is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated KS1 Teachers to work in primary schools across Crewe. Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates should be available to work 3 or more days per week.
The Role:
Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive learning behaviours
Assessing, monitoring, and recording pupil progress
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff, and parents
Contributing to the wider school community and school activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A creative and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A good understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment methods
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
A full UK driving licence and access to transport (desirable)
