New Directions Education are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and caring EYFS Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools and early years settings across the Wirral.
We are looking for passionate individuals who enjoy supporting young children and helping them develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills.
The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment. Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Working with individuals and small groups to support learning and development
Encouraging children’s communication, social and emotional development
Supporting classroom activities and continuous provision
Helping children develop their confidence and independence
Assisting with observations and recording children’s progress
Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Supporting children’s personal care needs where required
About You
We would love to hear from you if you:
Have experience working with children in an educational, nursery or childcare setting
Have a genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
Are patient, caring and enthusiastic
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Can build positive relationships with children and staff
Are reliable, adaptable and able to work as part of a team
Have an understanding of the EYFS framework
Experience within a school or nursery setting is desirable, but we are also happy to consider candidates with relevant childcare or transferable experience.
