What You’ll Be Doing
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to aid learning and development.
Encourage positive behaviour and help create an inclusive learning environment.
Provide additional support to pupils with varying learning needs.
Assist with classroom preparation and daily learning activities.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Help children grow in confidence and achieve their full potential.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role supporting children.
A passion for education and supporting young learners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, positive, and proactive approach.
The ability to adapt to different school environments and pupil needs.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Many of our partner schools are located across Harrogate and North Yorkshire, so drivers are preferred as some locations may be less accessible by public transport. However, we also have opportunities within accessible areas, so non-drivers are encouraged to apply.
