A welcoming primary school in St Helens is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with a strong commitment from the school to support induction and professional development. The role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment
• Support children’s early development across all areas of learning
• Use ongoing assessment to monitor progress and inform planning
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, with full support for induction provided
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Demonstrates a nurturing and creative approach to early years teaching
Requirements
• References covering the last 5 years
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Relevant safeguarding training (or willingness to complete this)
