New Directions Education is looking to recruit a reception teacher in the Frodsham area. At New Directions Education, we are committed to supplying a high caliber of teaching staff to our clients therefore we are seeking a passionate, hard-working and reliable Reception teacher to work in a small primary school.
This position is full time starting in March until Easter 2020, however has the opportunity to potentially continue longer. Experience of EYFS ( Early years foundation stage ) is essential and we encourage Newly Qualified Teachers to apply.
Due to the varied nature of supply, all successful candidates will need to have the ability to adapt their teaching approach to the different settings in which they work. A flexible approach and full time availability is essential.
An EYFS Teacher works in day nurseries and also nursery or reception classes in infant or primary schools.

As an EYFS teacher you’ll be expected to:
Teach all areas of the Early Years Statutory Framework
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a safe and positive teaching environment
Plan and prepare activities that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly in smaller schools and day-nurseries.
