Across Leeds, schools are searching for imaginative, motivated and forward‑thinking Science Teachers who can turn curiosity into confidence and spark a love of learning that lasts far beyond the classroom.
This is more than a teaching role — it’s a chance to shape future biologists, chemists, physicists, engineers, researchers, problem‑solvers and critical thinkers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Bringing Science to life through clear explanations, real‑world links and memorable practical lessons
Delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if that’s your niche)
Encouraging students to ask big questions and develop independent thinking
Using data, assessment and targeted support to push progress forward
Creating a safe, structured and aspirational environment where every student can thrive
What We’re Looking For
You might specialise in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or be a strong all‑rounder — what matters most is your ability to inspire.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
Hold QTS/QTLS (or you’re an ECT ready to make an impact)
Have excellent classroom presence and behaviour management
Love breaking down complex ideas and making them accessible
Want to contribute creatively to a growing, energetic Science team
Are committed, reliable and passionate about helping young people succeed
Whether you’re an experienced teacher searching for your next challenge, or an ECT looking for the perfect environment to grow, we’ll match you with a school where you can truly make an impact.
