New Directions Education is proud to be supporting a SEMH provision in Manchester that is looking to welcome a Teacher of Humanities from September 2025. The ideal subject specialist, will work across KS3/4 delivering History, Geography and Religious Education.

The Role:
Full-time KS3/4 classroom teaching role covering a number of Humanities based subjects
Small specialist classes of between 5-8 learners with SEMH needs – with good support within the class
Working with other adults/ professionals – including outside agencies to promote the best possible bespoke support for the student and their needs
The Candidate:
Holding QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – with a background in Humanities
Experience working in SEMH schools or secondary education with learners with SEMH
