👩🏫 Your role as a SEND Teaching Assistant:
Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with a range of needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language, and more)
Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to adapt lessons and resources to suit learners’ needs
Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills
Encourage positive behaviour and create a safe, nurturing classroom environment
Be a reliable and inspiring role model for the young people you support
🙌 Who we’re looking for:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in school, care, or personal settings) – desirable but not essential
A positive, patient and resilient attitude
Strong communication skills and the ability to build great relationships with children and staff
Someone reliable, proactive and eager to make a difference
Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate considering a career in education, or someone with personal experience supporting SEND, we’d love to hear from you.
