Are you passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs reach their full potential? Do you thrive in a supportive, rewarding environment where no two days are the same? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

We’re working with a range of fantastic primary and secondary schools across Medway, who are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams. This is a brilliant chance to gain hands-on classroom experience, make a lasting difference in children’s lives, and grow your career in education.

Why join us?

  • Competitive pay – £85–£110 per day (depending on experience)
  • Flexible work – choose long-term roles or short-term supply that fits your lifestyle
  • Career progression – training opportunities, CPD and support with moving into HLTA, Teacher Training, or SENCO pathways
  • Dedicated consultant – we’ll get to know you and match you with schools that are right for you
  • A rewarding role – where you’ll see the direct impact of your support every single day

👩‍🏫 Your role as a SEND Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with a range of needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language, and more)
  • Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to adapt lessons and resources to suit learners’ needs
  • Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills
  • Encourage positive behaviour and create a safe, nurturing classroom environment
  • Be a reliable and inspiring role model for the young people you support

🙌 Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in school, care, or personal settings) – desirable but not essential
  • A positive, patient and resilient attitude
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build great relationships with children and staff
  • Someone reliable, proactive and eager to make a difference

Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate considering a career in education, or someone with personal experience supporting SEND, we’d love to hear from you.
