New Directions Education is currently recruiting for a SEMH Tutor for a specialist provision in Salford. This hybrid role requires in the ideal candidate to deliver KS3/4 tuition as well as 1:1 classroom support. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role:
Full-time pupil tuition/ support role providing targeted support to a student in KS4 with a brain injury
Specifically supporting the student with targeted tuition across the core subjects; as well as classroom based 1:1 support
Working with other adults/ professionals – including outside agencies to promote the best possible bespoke support for the student and their needs
The Candidate:
Holding a Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. A Team Teach qualification is desirable but not essential as training can be provided by New Directions Education
Confident in delivering KS3/4 tuition for the core subjects
