As one of the preferred suppliers in the area, New Directions are seeking Student Teachers to work in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes either on a day to day supply basis or on a long-term basis which could lead to a permanent contract. Daily supply for a Student Teacher is great as you get to experience a variety of schools, get to know their ethos and will help you decide on where you would like to work in the future.
We also care about our candidates and offer a variety of CPD learning opportunities and host multiple webinars/seminars during the half term breaks. Some of these are Incidental Welsh, introduction to sign language, Assessment for Learning, Mindfulness and Wellbeing plus many more.
