As a supply teacher, you will be delivering high-quality lessons to cover for teacher absences, supporting pupils’ learning, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
You may be asked to provide:
Daily cover for unexpected staff absences
Short-term placements ranging from a few days to a few weeks
Long-term cover including ongoing assignments and maternity/paternity leave cover
Assignments will vary across year groups and subject areas, giving you the chance to build your experience and discover new teaching environments.
✅ Requirements
We are looking for supply teachers who are confident, adaptable, and passionate about education.
You must have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
Recent classroom teaching experience in the UK
Strong behaviour management skills
A positive, professional, and flexible approach
The ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
