Job Description

New Directions Education are currently recruiting ECT Primary Teachers for schools across Helsby, Frodsham and the surrounding areas, offering an excellent opportunity for recently qualified teachers looking to take the next step in their career.

These roles are particularly suited to recent graduates who have achieved QTS and are looking for their first teaching role, with opportunities available across different primary year groups and school settings.

Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.

The Role:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting students with different abilities and learning needs
• Developing positive relationships with students
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations
• Assessing and monitoring student progress
• Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff
• Adapting lessons to support individual learning needs
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recently completed their teacher training and be looking for their first teaching role
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Good classroom management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students
• A willingness to learn and develop as an early career teacher
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A strong commitment to safeguarding

All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and provide appropriate professional references.
