New Directions Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic Primary Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work in schools across Winsford and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified teachers to gain valuable classroom experience while building confidence across a range of supportive primary schools.
We offer opportunities across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, including day-to-day, long-term, and potential permanent roles.
Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
Due to the location of some schools, a full driving licence and access to transport would be beneficial.
• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary age range
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Planning and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS before starting
• Recent teaching placement experience within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
• A full driving licence and access to transport (beneficial)
