Job Description

New Directions Education are currently recruiting Primary Teachers for schools across Helsby, Frodsham and the surrounding areas, with a variety of day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities available.

These roles are ideal for enthusiastic and dedicated teachers looking for flexibility, a new school environment or the opportunity to work across different primary settings.

Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.

The Role:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Following the National Curriculum and adapting lessons to meet students’ needs
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations
• Supporting students’ academic, social and emotional development
• Assessing and monitoring student progress where required
• Differentiating activities to support a range of abilities
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach
• A passion for supporting students to achieve their potential
