New Directions is looking for adaptable, confident, and genuinely enthusiastic Cover Teachers to join our team and support schools across Cheshire East. You’ll be the person who keeps learning on track when teachers are away — stepping in with energy, calm, and a sense of purpose.
Whether you prefer the curiosity of KS1, the growing independence of KS3, or the challenge and reward of mixed specialist settings, you’ll have the flexibility to experience it all.

• Are a qualified teacher who enjoys teaching across KS1–KS4
• Have strong classroom management and a calm, reassuring presence
• Can adapt quickly to different age groups and subjects
• Are reliable, flexible, and confident taking on last-minute cover
• Bring enthusiasm, positivity, and passion to every lesson
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Delivering engaging, meaningful lessons across a wide range of subjects
• Following school-provided plans — or adding your own spark when needed
• Creating an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere
• Upholding school behaviour, safeguarding, and learning policies
• Building great relationships wherever you go
• Representing New Directions with professionalism, warmth, and flexibility
