New Directions Education are currently recruiting for Trainee Teaching Assistants to work in a welcoming and inclusive SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) school in Liverpool. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with excellent potential for development and permanent employment for the right candidates.

The Role:
Full-time Trainee Teaching Assistant position supporting pupils with special educational needs in both group and one-to-one settings
Assist with classroom routines, learning activities, and the delivery of personalised support plans under the guidance of experienced teachers and support staff
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child is encouraged to thrive
No previous school-based experience is required – full online training and support will be provided prior to placement
The Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Individuals from a care, coaching, social care, nursery, childcare, or psychology background are highly encouraged to apply
Be willing to provide employment references in the last 5 years
Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service if not already done so
