A small one-form entry primary school in Warrington is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This role offers the opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Role
• Full classroom responsibility for a Year 1 class
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum
• Deliver high-quality phonics teaching and support pupils developing early reading skills
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience desirable)
• ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of early reading and phonics development
• Experience with Read Write Inc. Phonics is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
