New Directions are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Trafford. The class has 32 children and you will have a general class teaching assistant who is there to support you.
This is a full-time role starting in September 2026 and will continue on a long-term basis. The school is keen to hear from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are committed to supporting pupils through this important stage of their primary education.
The Role
• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils and support individual progress
• Foster pupils’ confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and identifying next steps
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil achievement
The Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
• A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 3 expectations
• The ability to create engaging and inspiring learning experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
