I approached New Directions to choose my career in Education, as I love working with children. They helped me by going out of their way to provide me with opportunities and phenomenal experience over the past year. One thing I like is their friendly and “nothing is a problem” attitude. Without their valuable support and co-operation I wouldn’t have achieved my goals.

My Account Manager is friendly, approachable and always keen to help. I speak with her on average once per week and receive regular email contact (at least once per week) from her. She has always been able to provide me with work when required and there has been no issues with payments to me. I have worked with my account manager over the last few months, she has been very friendly and provided an open and professional service towards me. She has provided information on a regular basis via email and texts for any available work. I have gained experience working with a variety of different age groups through my role as a ESOL teacher and a Cover Supervisor. New Directions has also been very helpful in giving me lots of experience with classroom management and it has been a real confidence booster in believing in my own teaching ability. Our Account Manager has always been very jolly, kind and understanding. He is very chirpy and personable to talk to even when calling me at 7am when I am bleary-eyed and not very talkative! When I started at New Directions he would call me after work every day to see how things went and if I didn’t like a school he would try his best to find somewhere that suited me. I have always found him to be professional and supportive and would recommend him to others. He is polite and is the perfect combination of pleasant and approachable but also I know I can trust him in a work-based capacity, too. For me the highlight of working with New Directions is being able to work in a variety of different schools in and around Cardiff and I certainly would recommend New Directions.

Here at St Albans RC High School we have a very good relationship with with New Directions and, in particular, our account manager. I am fairly new to my job role having only started in January, but have since found all New Directions staff to be extremely helpful and always very eager to please.

Our dedicated account manager makes contact on a daily basis by phone and email to ensure that there is never any confusion or miscommunications. He also came out to visit me in person within a week of me starting which was very helpful as it is always nice to put a face to the name.

On the whole, we find our Account Manager is reliable, friendly, professional and a calming voice on the other end of the phone amongst the stressful morning rush. For us the highlight of working with New Directions is knowing and working with a friendly team of people.
