My account manager is supportive, understanding and reliable. I feel that he has gone out of his way to find interesting and challenging places of work for me. I also found that he listened and acted on the information i gave him on the type of area in education i would like to work in.

Last year I had a nightmare of a year but everyone at New Directions were an amazing source of support through some really difficult times.

Communications is good and enough work is given to me. They cater for my needs as well as their clients. They also have great patience with if I’m unwell or can’t make it etc.

I have made a lot of good friends and gained experience.

My relationship with my point of contact is easy going and open I can have a joke and a laugh with him he contacts me regular with work. The highlight of working with New Direction is that the staff are friendly when you speak to them they are fine with you if you decline work.

I have worked for New Directions for a number of years. I returned to teaching towards the end of the last academic year. I can honestly say that my point of contact has been the best consultant I have ever dealt with. Not only has he found me work on a very regular basis, but more importantly he understands the differing needs of his client base and has placed me in schools where he knew I would be valued as a teacher. This has now led me to gaining a more permanent role within one of the schools. I can’t thank him enough and have already been recommending him to other supply teachers that I come across who currently are not with New Directions.

It’s always easy to get hold of my account manager and I find it really useful that I can also send him a quick text rather than phoning through the office. He always replies quickly and is so helpful. He tailors my work around my availability which changes weekly, and also knows the type of schools I like to go to. I feel like he’s made the effort to get to know me as a candidate and therefore I’m really pleased with the service I get from New Directions.

For me, the highlight of working for New Directions is the online calendar system to update availability. I also really like the way the company is so flexible in regards to when I can work. My availability changes weekly and it’s fantastic for me that my account manager caters for that.
