I haven’t been with New Directions for long. Since being with them I have been very fortunate in receiving long-term placements. My account manager Jen is always on hand if needed and always has excellent communication. The company listen to your needs when offering you placements. I have also been offered and able to attend many courses through the company that have been of benefit. As a company they have enabled me to gain valuable experience within the different education sectors.

New Directions were great in getting me into long-term work with Kitchener Primary.  It was offered to me at a time when I needed it most.  Apart from loving and enjoying my time and work there, on a practical level it is just a ten minute walk away from my home, only 15 minutes from my children’s school and it just suits me to a tee.  I couldn’t be happier!

My first point of contact Jen George is fantastic. She is friendly, approachable, not at all intimidating and is understanding.  She is always prompt in getting back to me when I contact her and is always cheery.  I have nothing but praise for her.

New Directions have been superb at finding me long-term work in two great schools. The girls at New Directions matched my qualifications to certain roles i.e 1:1 with child who communicated via Makaton. Also ensured that my latest school was close enough to my local area that I didn’t need to travel far whilst without a car. They are always available to speak to if/ when you need them. I chose to use New Directions for cover as they provide us with quality teachers. They help with my day to day work as they are efficient and communicate by email and phone. I always request our three favourite staff to cover and our account manager is always happy to accommodate. When we need a strong teacher for a difficult class, our account manager sends us someone who is more experienced and has good behaviour management.

The highlight of working with New Directions is their hospitality on visits, always up for a chat and are very friendly. I’m also very impressed that they have ancillary staff. We have recently found a care taker through New Directions and he is great.
