I was a little nervous initially upon joining an agency but, Kirsty was fantastic and my registration was really easy. I was in my first post very quickly. New Directions Education gave me all the information and support that I needed to help me in my first post. I was really fortunate that my first school is now looking to employ me.
The highlight of working with ND: I was matched so well to my first post that I have been offered a position in the school. Thank you!

I have a good relationship with my contact at New Directions Education. Kirsty is honest, open, clear and approachable. I have worked with her in Welsh-medium schools for several months now. I enjoy working with her because I always have excellent communication about the bookings, she answers any queries very swiftly and I am able to easily talk to her and give feedback.
The highlight for me of working with New Directions Education is good communication from them and honesty.

I have been lucky to have a good relationship with my account manager, Kirsty Macklin, over the 3/4 years I have been with New Directions Education. She is always friendly, helpful and willing to listen and if I have had any issues in a school or classroom she has worked quickly and efficiently to solve them. I have had a constant stream of offers of work and have been able to refuse or accept placements, with no judgement. Her bookings have been reliable and she phones quickly if any changes occur. She has been a pleasure to deal with, always cheerful and efficient.

Kirsty has been my account manager since the beginning of my time with New Directions Education. Kirsty always has plenty of time to talk to me and listen to any concerns I may have. She always tries her best to find me the best possible work placement and has succeeded in doing so for years. Kirsty is easily approachable, kind to talk to and very reliable whether it comes to finding work or just getting back to you with information.
Kirsty is one of the main reasons why I have felt so comfortable staying with New Directions for so many years.

I have worked with several different supply agencies over the past few years and New Directions Education have been the most consistent with work and opportunities.
I am grateful for how supportive New Directions, Kirsty in particular has been in regards to my mental health. I have suffered with anxiety which affected my availability to work as a teacher. Kirsty managed to give me work as a TA until I was ready to return to a teacher role and I didn’t feel pressured to return or made to feel guilty, something I have experienced with other supply agencies.
New Directions are professional, easy to contact and communicate with.
My highlight of working with New Directions would have to be having my own class in Ysgol Rhys Prichard and being able to develop key skills as an NQT. I had the privilege to make the class my own, take the students on an educational visit, write reports, hold a parents evening and feel like a valid staff member. I am grateful for New Directions for introducing me to Rhys Prichard and allowing me to grow in confidence and as a primary school teacher.

I have worked for New Directions Education since 2008 and have always been pleased with the work that they have supplied me with over the years. I have appreciated that New Directions have recognised my particular skills as a Welsh first language speaker and have placed me in appropriate settings.
