New Directions have been able to find me long term work from the first month and have done their best to match me with schools that are in a reasonable travelling distance from home.  I have never felt pressured into taking work that I did not want.

I have found that I have always been able to have an open and honest conversation with my Account Manager and that she is always friendly, kind and considerate. Any issues are always dealt with promptly. My Account Manager has recommended many training opportunities and I am completing appropriate training thanks to her guidance. I cannot recommend her enough.

I don’t think I have ever had a more enjoyable interview than the one I had at New Directions with my Account Manager. As soon as I met her I was able to relax and not feel stressed at the questions I was answering. Straight away my Account Manager’s energy and passion for her job was evident in the first few minutes of talking to her. I was able to be myself, as well as receive all the necessary information that is required at the agency.

Since I have joined, my Account Manager has been in contact on numerous occasions offering me a variety of placements, and any questions or worries I have emailed to her she replies immediately. I’m really glad that I made the career choice of Supply Teaching Assistant for New Directions.  It was a massive leap of faith for me leaving a secure job.  Thankfully I’ve been kept busy and you let me know the day before at least about my next placement. I find that my Account Manager and the rest of the team are easy to communicate with and are always very friendly.

I try my best with the challenges of a different environments and expectations. I particularly enjoy phonics work and teaching children how to read and write.  I also love working with autistic children and Early Years.

I’ve been incredibly lucky to have been welcomed by staff at the Marion Centre and their positive feedback gave me a boost. The staff I am presently working with at an Additional Learning Needs School immediately accepted me as part of their team. It’s great to see the children flourish and increase in confidence and has given me a real sense of purpose. A great way to earn a living!

I can’t thank New Directions and my Account Manager enough! As of December my contract wasn’t renewed with a previous employer due to funds. I was worried about finding work for January but I called New Directions as soon as I found out and they found me a long-term supply right away which I love.
