I have been working for New Directions for 3 and a half years now and have found them amazing to work for. I have been very lucky and have had long term placements, one lasting 2 years. My Account Manager is very helpful and is always available to discuss anything and very caring during a leave of absence that I had to take. I can not thank them enough for the support and training that I have received.
The highlight of working for New Directions is the long term placements have really helped me grow as a Learning Support Assistant and my First Aid training that they provided has come in so handy at work. Having one Account Manager has also made transitions from schools easy and smooth running.
Thank you so much New Directions, especially my Account Manager, for all of her hard work and dedication. Without you I wouldn’t have been able to take that step on the ladder to finding contracted work for the next academic year.

I have been working with New Directions for almost 3 years. I have been in a long term placement for an academic year and it is continuing for another academic year from September. My account manager arranged this placement and I would recommend New Directions.
My account manager has always been reliable and easy to communicate with. I am regularly contacted by her to check on how things are progressing. She is very approachable and always does her best to ensure you are satisfied with your placement. Any queries or questions I have had, she has always dealt with them in a professional and competent manner.

I have been with New Directions for over a year now, and the service they have provided has been impeccable. If ever I’ve had a query about anything they are always there to help. New Directions got me a job in a local primary school last September and I am still there now. In the event that my contract does come to an end I am extremely confident that New Directions will be able to provide me with more long or short term work. Overall I have been a very satisfied customer.

Just over two years ago I decided to dip my toe back into teaching, having been out of the profession for over 10 years due to a sporting injury and then starting a family. I was nervous, hesitant and unsure but the New Directions team made it easier every step of the way. I now have regular work in an amazing special needs school and absolutely adore it. I feel I am home again, in exactly the right place. If it wasn’t for New Directions asking me to have a go at SEN teaching I would never have had the courage. I now feel 100% back into teaching and a great deal more confident about taking on new educational challenges. Thank you New Directions – to the ALN team and in particular my account manager- for your time, encouragement and dedication.
