I am a qualified TA and have been working for New Directions more than two years, both on long term and on a day to day basis. My manager at New Directions is approachable at all times, supports me and offers me placements at schools taking into account my training experience and preference. All team members at New Directions are very helpful, understandable and encourage me to do training courses offered by them.

The online section is one of the best amongst similar organisations, which enables me to update my availability at any time, confirm my time sheets and review my account.

I have been working for New Directions since September 2015 and my consultant Gemma has been fab! She has a high level of communication, is always reliable and friendly, and open yet professional – we speak regularly via phone and email to keep each other updated.

Since I joined New Directions, Gemma has arranged regular work and even interviews for me, which has been amazing, but she also phones after I’ve been to new schools to see what I though how I got on, which adds a personal touch. I have been able to visit lots of different schools, and thanks to Gemma, I have been back to some of the ones I enjoyed most.

Since I signed with New Directions in September all of my experiences with my account manager, Shannon, have been very positive and friendly. Whenever I have a query Shannon gets back to me in a timely manner and is very helpful.

I have been very fortunate to have the pleasure of working for New Directions as this has broadened my horizons and offered me the opportunity to experience a wealth of different schools in my locality. New Directions has changed my career for sure and I owe them. I have been registered since 2013 and while the other agencies put up barriers for me to register, New Directions drove my registration process forward and I’ve received fair calls every week last year and I was satisfied. I’d like to mention Jessica (education) who was always available and she offered me a position in College. Then I got the College job again for the whole academic year through Jen. I have worked for New Directions Special Educational Needs for two years, I did resign back in July but that changed I had a new consultant Jennifer who has been fantastic and totally understood that I did not want long-term full time, only part-time and flexible, as I help out with grandchildren but enjoy working. I can recommend New Directions based on my personal experience they will listen to what you want to work and find work that you require for your personal preferences.
