When I first moved to the area, I was wanting to find a position as a teaching assistant within a school in Cardiff. New Directions offered a straightforward, helpful and friendly service to get me where I wanted to be. The training opportunities offered have been excellent and the account managers are a really helpful and approachable team. I joined New Directions two years ago, along with two other Recruitment Agencies but chose to work with another agency as I preferred their communication style. However I chose to work primarily with New Directions six months ago as I appreciated Sian, my Account Managers communication style. She is flexible and takes account of individual preferences. Copperworks Infant School

As the Specialist Teaching Facility in Pontarddulais Comprehensive School, we educate and care for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. We have built a very good working relationship with Kelly. Over the past year we have required learning support assistants (LSAs) to cover staff on long term absence and Kelly’s support has been exceptional.

She and the team are always available by telephone and that is very reassuring when unforeseen absences occur and a solution to support is requires promptly. Kelly has visited the school on several occasions and has worked hard to understand the nature of support needed and to match that with the LSAs available at new directions. This is so important with the complex needs of our pupils.

Kelly discusses needs, responds to previous feedback, arranges the cover and then confirms details by email. She always requests honest feedback and this has led to a realistic understanding of the suitability of the LSA.  It has given us confidence in New Directions and led to us finding an excellent learning support assistant who spent most of the year with us and is now employed by the school.

Dealing with Kelly is always a pleasure. She is cheerful, likeable and professional. She deals with requests promptly, calmly and without fuss and is honest in her appraisal of the staff she is sending which is helpful.  Her communication skills are excellent and we have enjoyed the support from New Directions over the years and look forward to working with Kelly in the future.

We have been extremely happy with the professional service provided by New Directions. We have used New Directions for all our Teaching and TA requirements over the past four years and have received nothing but the best service from them.

The staff are always friendly and extremely helpful and always easily accessible at all times.
