Communication with my account managers have been very good. Frequency of contact has been fine, I don’t like being overwhelmed by agencies. I know where to go when I need someone. I like the reliability and open dialogue of how the supply teachers and LSA’s have performed in other schools. I would recommend New Directions.

New Directions are incredibly reliable at arranging work placements on a daily basis. I have a phone call offering me work almost every day of the week and I am often placed in schools which are most relevant to my training (behavioural and SEN.) Additionally, if I have a problem or an issue whilst working then the office team are very helpful.
My highlight was receiving the Team Teach training with New Directions. The trainer was very informative and helpful and the training itself has become very useful in many different placements.

When I first started with New Directions I was only working a few days or half days a week, due to other commitments, family and uni. Despite this I had regular work on the days I was available and regular contact from various staff members (as I could work in a variety of areas).
In July I was offered the chance to have an interview for a long term 1-1 position in a school…the contact who phoned me was great, and since the moment I had contact with her I have had nothing but good things to say about her and the company. If I have any questions or problems I can phone her without hesitation and they are always understanding. In addition to that she is aware of my family life and other commitments and regularly checks to see if all is okay in my personal life…this is a breath of fresh air and I can see that they take an actual interest in me.
My highlight is being offered a long term contract in a school, and being offered additional hours within the school when other members are off.
I have never had a negative experience with New Directions and can only sing their praises. I feel lucky to have my Account Manager as she is so easy to speak to.

My Account Manager is helpful, supportive, easy to talk to and friendly – nothing is too much trouble and she is always there to help with any queries and concerns. I am updated when need be and the information regarding given schools and upcoming placements is always clear. She has always found me work in schools promptly and has encouraged me to try new work placements and give different school ages a go! I was also awarded “Employee of the term” by the company for work effort.
Working with New Directions has allowed me to gain new skills and lots of experience and travelling to different schools has also enabled me to gain more confidence.
All staff are always friendly, helpful and approachable. All of my messages are always passed on within the team and they are reliable in finding you work.

I have been working for New Directions as a Supply Teaching Assistant for the past 13 months. My Account Manager and her team have been fantastic in getting me long term work that’s right for me. I have worked in fantastic schools across Cardiff and gained so much knowledge and experience in Education thanks to her. I would recommend New Directions to anyone who wants to progress their career in education, enjoy the benefits of their fantastic pay rates and holiday schemes, as well as work for a company who works closely with you and helps and supports every day.

Words cannot adequately describe the way that New Directions helps me – when I phone up in a panic and the answer is always ‘no problem – we will look to see who is available and call you back’. The quality of your relief workers is the best – and I always feel a little more relieved when I know that you are able to send us someone. My two Account Managers from the ALN and Primary Team are the most cheerful unflappable people in the city.

Since joining New Directions in May 2015, I have received a steady flow of work. My work placements have always been well suited. The training that New Directions have provided me with has proved to be invaluable and has led to being offered long term placements. The staff are always accommodating and extremely helpful. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the service they have provided and would highly recommend New Directions to anyone looking to join a fantastic supply team.

At the end of the academic year 2015, my much loved permanent job came to an end. I was quite nervous when I signed up with New Directions Education and unsure what to expect when I plucked up the courage to do it.
One of the first things that struck me was how friendly and helpful the ALN team were, none more so than my account manager. In the beginning I was always ringing her asking no end of questions; directions to schools, feedback etc. My account manager always has time for me and her continued support is much appreciated . My account manager asks the right questions about which areas I want to work in and the age groups I am confident at covering. All the supply jobs I has been given have been perfect, thank you for everything.

Working for New Directions makes you feel as though you are a part of a big family, as I often see other New Direction supplies whilst in setting and they are always friendly. Also working for New Directions is great in terms of the training sessions which are available!
My account manager put me at ease straight away at my interview, as she was very approachable, informative and a genuinely friendly person. She has also been very supportive and approachable when I have had any issues. I am very much enjoying working for New Directions, and I have already suggested them to many of my friends, as working in a range of different settings offers so much experience!
