I have worked for New Directions for a few years, it’s a great way to keep in touch with the profession. It’s also great to work with the Special Needs team. My Account Manager makes every effort to find me the right contracts and know my needs when it comes to teaching commitments.
It’s always good to know you’re part of a team .

My Account Manager is a very friendly, sensitive person. She has supported, understood and listened at difficult times. Always inquires about your situation, even when I was unable to work for a long time due to personal issues.
My highlight with New Directions is knowing that the work is there when required.
I would recommend New Directions.

I have been with New Directions for over 3 years. My Account Manager is excellent – she has a warm and friendly attitude making me feel comfortable to ask questions and raise any concerns I may have. She has been great offering me work in many great locations and really takes into consideration my personal choices for places of work and strives to provide them for me. I couldn’t ask for more.

Just over two years ago I decided to dip my toe back into teaching, having been out of the profession for over 10 years due to a sporting injury and then starting a family. I was nervous, hesitant and unsure but the New Directions team made it easier every step of the way. I now have regular work in an amazing special needs school and absolutely adore it. I feel I am home again, in exactly the right place. If it wasn’t for New Directions asking me to have a go at SEN teaching I would never have had the courage. I now feel 100% back into teaching and a great deal more confident about taking on new educational challenges. Thank you New Directions – to the ALN team and in particular my account manager- for your time, encouragement and dedication.

New Directions have been superb at finding me long term work in two great schools. My Account Manager at New Directions has matched my qualifications to certain roles like 1:1 with a child who communicated via Makaton and my current placement was local to me so that I didn’t need to travel far whilst without a car. They are always available to speak to if and when you need them. Really are a good agency and would recommend them to friends and colleagues.

I first joined New Directions in July of 2014, the year I qualified and left college.
As of September I was on the payroll for work and although it was slow to begin with I started to get work as and when it was available. New Directions would call me and offer me a job for a morning, afternoon, sometimes all day. From January, I was offered work in one school which was meant to be 1 day, that then turned into 2, 3 days and then a week. Which then turned into 2, 3 ,4 weeks. In total I was there up until the beginning if January 2016 and since this New Directions have been able to offer me work relating to my speciality which is SEN.
I have been able to continue gaining experience within 1-1 roles of various natures and have loved every minute of my journey with them. Thank you New Directions.

I have had a great 6 months working for New Directions. I have had a long term placement which was truly amazing and that was all thanks to my amazing Account Manager! I have worked as a teacher assistant for 15 years and have gained valuable experience along the way. Since working for New Directions from 2015, I have been given placements relevant to my experience.
If you were wondering which agency to choose I would say 100% go with New Directions.
There is plenty of work, training and I have never had a problem with pay.
They are a pleasure to deal with particularly my account manager, and I look forward to September.

New Directions have been able to get me work fast and sufficient to my lifestyle. Since working for New Directions they have been very understanding with the family issues that I have going on and have offered me alternatives to work. Since I had lost my job at the end of last year, my key worker for education has been wonderful in finding me permanent work to help with my issues.
