I joined New Directions Education for Learning Support Assistant work in October 2015. I was recommended to register by a friend who was already completing agency work with them. It was easy to register and I have since had work offered to me on a daily basis. The positives for me have been the variety of Schools I have had the opportunity to work in. I have also attended free training courses that have enhanced my knowledge and skill set, such as Manual Handling and Team Teach.
My account manager helps me to find work on a day to day basis. My experience working with her has been a positive one, she always has an ‘up beat’ attitude and is very easy to communicate with. If I have any questions or concerns, she always answers them.

I have been working for New Directions Education for two years and took a six month break earlier this year, returning in May 2015.
My account manager is excellent, I have regular contact with her and she is always very professional and reliable. I am always happy with the work that I receive and believe that she does the best job possible in order to place me in Schools. Even though my long term position has come to an end, she still tries to find suitable work for me. There are odd occasions when work has had to be cancelled due to Schools change of need but my Account Manager does her best to find other work for me. I find new directions extremely reliable and would like to thank them for all of the recent work.

I began working with New Directions Education in April 2016 and the highlights so far have been working in different schools, meeting new people and learning new skills.
My account manager tries really hard to get me as much work as possible and communicates with me regularly. She is easily reached through telephone and email and gives me information on the School or setting I will be working in. When I have been in a School, she gives me feedback on my performance.

New Directions are brilliant! As a school, we have worked closely with them for a number of years. They provide us with cover of staff sickness and also more long term support. I have dedicated account managers who are always professional, easy to contact and understand the needs of our school. Booking and payment systems are straight forward with we keep in regular contact to discuss staff feedback and ensure that we are always happy with the service provided.

I began LSA work with New Directions in January 2016 on a day to day basis, I found the opportunities of being able to work in different schools and different settings very beneficial and rewarding. I went in to a long term position in March 2016 working as a one to one support, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. This placement has given me more experience.
My account manager has been good overall. She is very helpful in terms of helping to find work and will wait for your response when offering work, rather than giving it to someone else, as some other agencies do. When we have spoken she has made sure that everything with school placement is ok. If I have any queries, she will respond to them as quickly as she can, therefore making it an easy relationship.

My account manager keeps in touch with me on a regular basis. She has always been friendly and helpful. When offering me work at a new School she makes sure that I have all the information I need.
I recommend New Directions Education to other LSA’s I work with.

I have worked for New Directions for 17 years now, both full time and more recently on an intermittent basis. Throughout this time I have always found all of my contact with the company to be courteous, friendly, helpful and professional.
Over the last few years however, I have found my Account Manager in particular, to be the best ND contact person I have dealt with yet. In addition to the above qualities, I have found him to be especially proactive and reliable in getting me work. He is friendly, approachable, and regularly in contact. He also understands my desire to get as much work as possible and is always willing to go that extra mile to ensure that this happens .
With New Directions I have never felt any pressure to be available at all times. Whether you want to work a little or a lot, or if there are any locations or times you don’t want to work, this is never held against you, so the level of service provided always remains the same with ND staff working enthusiastically and energetically on your behalf. Also New Directions reputation and spread of clients gives you the best chance of getting the work you want, where you want it. As a result, I would definitely recommend New Directions.
