I have been with New Directions, registered to work as a teaching assistant for last 3 years. My account manager is a friendly person, approachable at any time and has been very helpful and understanding. She has been giving me placements of my preference which enabled me to gain experience and progress on my career. I am currently working on a long term placement for the past year.

As far as I know, New Directions offer a unique online service to update availability to work at any time, submit timesheets and keep track of placements etc.

Our problems are usually of an urgent nature with very little notice given. We started to use New Directions as we had been badly let down by other supply agencies. I have been using New Directions for at least the last three years and have always found them to be reliable. Our teachers report that the quality of supply teachers is good and they have been pleased to see that, generally, marking is completed before the supply teacher leaves. Our account manager is exceptionally helpful and always cheerful and friendly – even on the odd occasion I have had to cancel supply cover at short notice. I cannot think of a time when she has not been able to provide us with a top quality supply teacher.

I would say my highlight of working at New Directions is that I find everyone in the organisation are trained to a very high standard which is rewarding as whenever I ring them, regardless who answers the phone I am treated with the same level of professionalism. Also I would like to add a well done to your IT department for having the most simplest and efficient Web portal which makes life so much easier as timer is of value to all of us and they have nailed it. Well Done.

I have taken on the cover in Cardiff High School to enable our regular Cover Manager to undertake examination Duties. My Account Manager has provided an excellent support. He has kept in touch with me on a daily basis, to ensure I have adequate staff and his cheerful, can-do attitude has been much appreciated. I can honestly say that I have probably used staff from New Directions more often than other agencies as a direct result of his helpful attitude and efficiency.
