Rebecca is a very professional, efficient, organised, and friendly person who is always proactive in her approach in finding work for myself in schools based in Conwy and Denbighshire.

Examples of her ability to resolve queries are as follows:

1. I needed help sorting out my Travel and Subsistence allowance. Rebecca acknowledged the query and explained clearly how the allowance worked which resulted in the query being resolved immediately. I asked Rebecca for help with this issue because of her knowledge and experience.

2. I needed to increase the amount of supply assignments I was being placed on with New Directions. I discussed this with Rebecca and she resolved the issue by ensuring that the volume of assignments that I was being placed on increased. As a supply teacher receiving regular weekly work, I feel that if I ever do have any problems, which are mostly few and far between, Rebecca my account manager is the best person to get in contact with as she always seem to deal with any issues promptly and efficiently.

If I have any enquiries/queries or issues she will also look for have answer, find a solution or willing to get back to me with if she didn’t have one then are then, take for example last week I have a tax enquiry about my payroll and she wasn’t able to give me answer immediately but explained that, to me clearly and told me she would get in touch with payroll, which she did, it turned out that I needed to contact the inland revenue anyway.

Also I must add I seem to have enough work coming in and I do seem to be kept fairly local, which is brilliant with me having a family at home, thank you for all you do.

Rebecca has been my account manager since August 2015. I first met Rebecca in August at my interview where she made me feel very welcome and a part of the company.
Rebecca, with help from her colleagues, has been successful in finding teaching and supporting jobs for me.

The only issue that I have had is a missed half day of work as the school did not notify the office. When the omission was noticed, I emailed Rebecca as soon as possible, and a few days later (as this occurred over a weekend), Rebecca has contacted me to let me know that she would try to rectify the issue immediately. I worked with Jen from New Directions in my previous role at a secondary school on the Wirral and we established a good working relationship. I was keen to continue this in my new school as I found her approach friendly and professional. We are approached several times a week by other agencies, whose approach is very forward and pushy, this is incredibly off-putting, this is not the case with Jen from New Directions. She has supplied us with some excellent quality supply staff and is always open and honest with us about their strengths and weaknesses.
