Open Day at Cardigan Job Centre

New Directions Education is currently aiming to increase our pool of supply staff in order to service the Primary and Secondary Schools throughout Ceredigion. The number of schools we are now servicing is increasing and so there is a far greater demand for supply cover in the short and long term. We are looking to register teachers, teaching assistants and cover supervisors who are interested in short or long-term work. The ability to speak Welsh would also be an advantage (though not essential) as schools are now adding a greater focus on promoting the Welsh language and culture.

New Directions Education is able to offer flexible part-time or full-time hours to suit your requirements, competitive rates of pay and free training courses to support your professional development. The opportunity to undertake supply placements offers exciting and varied work as you decide how many schools you would like to go to and provides you with different experiences each time. You will see how different schools operate and will be able to pick up tips and techniques which you will be able to utilise in your career. We are also able to offer regular placements in schools which would allow you to form relationships with students and staff and really allow you to settle in if this is what you prefer.

New Directions will be holding a Recruitment Day at Cardigan Job Centre on Wednesday 6th March where interested candidates can begin the registration process. Prior to meeting at Cardigan, applicants are welcome to contact us on 01792 620180 and we will be able to discuss the type of work you are looking for and to arrange an appointment.
