Over the last week of term Ysgol Christchurch in Rhyl has been having action packed week of events, including a penalty shoot-out competition between the classes of years 3/4 and year 5/ 6.
During the day, the pupils of Ysgol Christchurch battled it out to win a medal which was donated by New Directions Education with eight worthy winners which included four boys and four girls.
Mr Thompson, Head Teacher also took part in the event, and was cheered on by the pupils andstaff of Christhchurch when he managed to score two out of five shots.
Jenna Whittam, Branch Manager for New Directions Education Wrexham said ‘it was a brilliant day, we had glorious sunshine and all the pupils and staff really enjoyed themselves. There was some very healthy competition and even Mr Thompson took part which was brilliant. I would like to wish Mr Thompson all the best as he is due to retire this Friday’.
