The school had taken part in the Tranmere Rovers FC competition – aimed at bringing schools across the region together in a community football tournament.

Participants were presented with their certificates by tournament sponsor New Directions Education at a celebration assembly at the school.

Representatives Jennifer Morrison and Lauran Collins were on hand to present the certificates to the pupils at an event held by the school to celebrate success and achievement by students.

Speaking about the presentation, New Directions Branch Manager for the Wirral team, Sam Pilling said ‘My staff returned back to the office so pleased to be part of such a good celebration assembly! It is lovely to be able to work alongside schools in doing these events and we are look forward to many more.
The Tranmere Rovers in the Community Tournament has been organised by the club for a number of years and engagement with local schools is key to the success of the competition. We were delighted to be a part of such an event’.
