New Directions Launches Education Partnership Conferences

New Directions Education have launched their inaugural conference series to support Business Leaders and Headteachers within the education sector. The six events across three locations in Wales are delivered free of charge to schools across the country.

Covering topics such as Mindfulness and Wellbeing, Data Protection and Leading Behavioural Change, the sessions are a direct response to a community at the heart of the New Directions group of companies.

Gary Williams, Director of Business Development for the organisation explains the process behind the conferences ‘we have a deep commitment to the education sector that we work to support. In 2017 we have responded to the ever-changing landscape of the schools and colleges we work in partnership with. Working as an agency of choice to our clients, for us goes beyond the basic processes of supply and demand. We have a responsibility to keep re-investing in the community we work to deliver our service to’.

Group Chairman and Chief Executive Jeff Tune adds to Gary William’s comments ‘the National Procurement Service appointed New Directions Educations Limited as the appointed managed service provider in Wales which provides for the supply of staff to schools and colleges across Wales.

Due to the successful service delivery, in the past two years New Directions has been named ‘Supplier of the Year’ at the National Welsh Procurement Awards. Additionally, we were also shortlisted on both occasions for the ‘Community Benefits’ award.

Because of our stringent compliance procedures, supply teacher pensions and additional teacher benefits including professional development, we believe that New Directions Education provides an invaluable service to the education community. These conferences herald further re-investment from our organisation to the schools and colleges that continue to work with every new academic year’.

In 2016 the organisation was named as an Investors in People (IiP) Gold organisation. This accolade further cemented the business’ dedication to providing innovative strides in cost-saving, quality recruitment services.
