New Directions Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and flexible Spanish and General Cover Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Liverpool. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a fantastic opportunity for long-term work with the potential for a permanent contract.

The Role:
Teaching Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering dynamic and interactive language lessons aligned with the national curriculum and GCSE requirements.
Providing general cover across a range of subjects where required, maintaining continuity of learning and managing classroom behaviour effectively.
Supporting the wider school community through pastoral care, departmental collaboration, and extra-curricular involvement where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold QTS or QTLS, with a specialism in Spanish or Modern Foreign Languages (MFL).
Have experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level, including preparation for GCSE exams.
Be confident covering lessons across a variety of subjects, with a flexible and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
Be willing to complete (or already hold) an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
Be able to provide at least one recent teaching reference from within the last 5 years.
