The Role
As a Geography Teacher with New Directions Education, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available in some schools)
Bring physical and human geography topics to life through creative teaching and clear explanation
Support pupils of all abilities through effective differentiation
Encourage critical thinking, curiosity and an understanding of global challenges
Manage behaviour in line with school policies and maintain a positive classroom environment
Mark, assess and track pupil progress in longer‑term placements
Work collaboratively with wider Humanities teams to raise achievement and engagement
About You
We’re looking for Geography Teachers who:
Hold QTS/QTLS or are an ECT with strong subject knowledge
Are confident, adaptable and capable of delivering engaging lessons
Have strong behaviour management and clear communication skills
Are committed to helping young people broaden their outlook and develop real‑world understanding
Can bring creativity, energy and enthusiasm to the classroom
Are reliable, reflective and open to new opportunities
