Essential Requirements
Applicants should:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Have a genuine passion for teaching English
Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Be able to teach Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Have excellent classroom management skills
Hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one
Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs/ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging and effective English lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5 (KS5)
Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress
Supporting the academic and personal development of students
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders
Contributing to wider school activities and events where appropriate
Keeping up to date with curriculum developments and best practice in education
