Salary: £600-900 per week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

Job Overview

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education (PE) to join one of our esteemed partner secondary schools in Stockport. This role is starting in September 2024 until at least Christmas in the first instance.

As a PE teacher key responsibilities will include:

  • Dynamic Lesson Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to a range of abilities and encourage all students to participate actively.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle.
  • Student Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and understanding.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that fosters respect and enthusiasm for physical education.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Lead and support a variety of extracurricular sports and fitness activities, including after-school clubs, teams, and competitions.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
  • Experience: Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level is preferred, though highly motivated newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for sports.
