We are seeking a passionate and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in St Helens. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
This school serves a community where many pupils come from low socio-economic backgrounds, and we are looking for a teacher who understands the importance of raising aspirations, building confidence, and creating real-life opportunities through education.
The Role
Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan and differentiate lessons to support mixed-ability classes, including SEND pupils
Inspire creativity, resilience and practical problem-solving skills
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level
A genuine commitment to supporting pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds
