French Teacher, Lancashire

Job Description

Our ‘good’ Secondary School based in West Lancashire are seeking a passionate and skilled French Teacher to deliver high-quality language instruction to students at KS3 & KS4. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop their language skills, from beginner to advanced levels, through creative and interactive teaching methods. You will support students in developing their linguistic abilities, and help them improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Our school prides themselves on there inclusive staff and friendly environment.

As a French Teacher you’ll be expected to:

• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline.
• Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
• Have a passion for teaching French
• To deliver religious education lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 16 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.

The Successful French Teacher must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience Of teaching French
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Able to provide Referees.
• An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Passionate about Education
