We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in St Helens. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The school is committed to providing a strong foundation in early learning and is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons while ensuring pupils make excellent progress in reading, writing and maths.
The Role
• Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1
• Prepare pupils effectively for the Phonics Screening Check
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching within KS1
• Experience preparing pupils for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check (essential)
• Familiarity with Read Write Inc (desirable but not essential)

• References covering the last 5 years
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
