New Directions Education is seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable ICT Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the North Yorkshire area. This is a long-term position, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about digital learning and eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.
The Role:
We’re looking for a teacher who can deliver high-quality ICT lessons across KS3–KS4, bringing creativity and clarity to subjects such as computing, digital literacy, programming, and online safety. You’ll be joining a supportive team with excellent resources and a strong commitment to student success.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Planning and delivering engaging ICT lessons
Inspiring students to develop digital and technical skills
Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress
Contributing to the wider school community where needed
We’re Looking For:
A qualified ICT/Computer Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge and passion for technology
Good classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and high educational standards
