We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to support a variety of primary and secondary schools.. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy working in different school environments.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development. Assignments may be short-term, long-term, or day-to-day, offering flexibility to suit your availability.
You may be placed in mainstream classrooms or specialist settings, including supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities
Provide classroom support under the direction of the class teacher
Work with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to reinforce learning
Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN, SEMH, or EAL
Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
Assist with behaviour management following school policies
Prepare and organise teaching resources and classroom materials
Support pupils’ social and emotional development
Supervise pupils during break times or school activities when required
