A large, oversubscribed two-form entry primary school in Warrington is seeking to appoint a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and nurturing individual to support young learners at a crucial stage in their development.
This role will also include supporting the school’s Forest School provision, offering a unique opportunity to engage pupils in outdoor learning and exploration.
The Role
• Support teaching and learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Work with individuals and small groups to support early development and learning goals
• Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
• Support pupils in the school’s Forest School provision, encouraging outdoor learning and exploration
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Has experience working within an EYFS setting
• Is passionate about early childhood development and outdoor learning
• Demonstrates a nurturing, patient, and supportive approach
Requirements
• References covering the last 5 years
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
