Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive educational setting, working with pupils across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. This role is offered on a supply basis initially, with a strong opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Provide tailored support to pupils in KS2 and KS3, both in and out of the classroom
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
• Support pupils with a range of learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential
• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)
• Be patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting individual learning needs
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be proactive and able to use initiative in a classroom setting

Desirable (but not essential):

• A full UK driving licence
• A current DBS registered on the Update Service
